Ingredients:
2 pounds peeled and de vained large shrimp.
2 cups beer (Heineken brand is good.)
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice. 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce.
1 cup butter.
2 tablespoons dried rosemary.
1 1/2 teaspoons paprika.
1/2 teaspoon cayenne.
2 tablespoons freshly cracked black pepper.
1 1/2 teaspoons salt.
Preparation:
In a large skillet, combine all the ingredients except for the shrimp – stirring in the lemon juice and Worcestershire sauce last.
Heat mixture uncovered for approximately 15 minutes, until the beer foam subsides. Add in shrimp, stir, and cook until the shrimp is cooked through.
Serve on a colorful platter with a sourdough or French bread loaf.
Pour some of the remaining sauce from the pan into small individual cups or sauce boats for dipping
